Libya
Same-sex relations are criminalized under article 407(4) of Libya's Penal Code (1953, amended in 1976), with penalties of up to 5 years' imprisonment. In militia-controlled areas, extrajudicial executions have been documented, including public executions for purported homosexuality attributed to ISIS. There is no legal recognition of same-sex unions. Several foreign affairs ministries maintain active travel advisories for Libya. We recommend consulting official sources before planning any travel.
