Maldives
Same-sex relations are criminalized under Section 411(2) of the Maldives Penal Code (in force since July 2015), with up to eight years' imprisonment plus a possible 100 lashes under Sharia. Section 410(a)(8) further criminalizes marriage between two same-sex persons. There is no legal recognition of same-sex unions. We recommend consulting official sources before planning any travel.
