Palma's Pride again took to the street twice on the same Sunday, as in 2025. Orgull Crític Mallorca gathered at 6.30 pm on Plaça d'Espanya and finished at Plaça de les Columnes under the slogan "Sense permís, revolució cuir". Half an hour later, at 7 pm and from the same square, the Ben Amics march set off under the slogan "A las calles con Orgullo, disidencia y resistencia", going along the avingudes, La Rambla, Passeig del Born and Carrer Conquistador to Plaça de Cort, outside the city hall. The chosen endpoint was the message. The association had spent a decade putting on the Pride street party together with the city council, and this year the council organised it alone, on Saturday the 27th on Plaça Major, with concerts and drag performances. Ben Amics described it as pinkwashing, pulled out, filed a complaint over the awarding of the contract and moved much of its programme to the Part Forana, inland Mallorca: the pink siurell and pink demon awards were handed out in Manacor and there were events in Pollença and Montuïri. Its demands included flying the LGBTI flag from the city hall balcony and bringing back diversity workshops in schools. Several outlets presented the Cort finish as a first, though the 2022 march had already ended there, with the manifesto read out and the awards handed over; what changed in 2026 was the reason. A month later, on 29 July, the Ben Amics president, Tatiana Casado, and the mayor met to narrow their differences. "What happened with Pride this year cannot happen again," the association summed up, calling for cultural programming, school training and reasonable administrative timelines for 2027. The previous year, 2025, the Ben Amics march had set off at six in the evening from Passeig des Born under the slogan "Orgullo rural, resistencia diversa", with around a thousand people, and the Orgull Crític one had drawn around two hundred.
