Angola revised its Penal Code on November 4, 2020 (signed by the president on November 6 and in force from February 11, 2021), legalizing same-sex sexual activity and establishing broad anti-discrimination protections. General Labour Law (7/15) had already banned employment discrimination based on sexual orientation since September 15, 2015. No union recognition, no joint adoption, no legal gender recognition.
