Although same-sex relations were decriminalized in 1994, in April 2026 Belarus enacted a law prohibiting the "propaganda of homosexuality, sex change, childlessness and pedophilia" through administrative fines (and, in cases involving minors, community labour or detention of up to 15 days). The constitution bans same-sex marriage. Several foreign affairs departments advise against all travel. We recommend consulting official sources before planning any travel.
